Making Your Voice Heard: Strategies for Social Justice

  • VisTaTech Center Schoolcarft College 18600 Haggerty Road Livonia, MI, 48152 United States (map)

Course Description:

Do you often feel stuck working within systems that are broken? Today’s political climate is moving fast, and the decisions that are made can significantly impact those you serve. This workshop is designed to demonstrate how to impact social justice/advocacy efforts on the larger scale. If you don’t like the system, change it! Learn how to leverage your personal and organizational influence to impact social policy. In this interactive, non-partisan workshop you will practice advocacy right here, right now, and become re-connected to your voice.

Please bring your devices (cell phones, laptops, etc.), because we will be teaching you where to find the most current information about your legislators.
