Course Description:

The Center for Human-Animal Interventions offers AAIs workshop which will expand on the Spring Practicum session plan case scenarios focusing on healthcare and human service providers interested in animal assisted interventions featuring international expert, Melissa Winkle, OTR/L, FAOTA. Workshop attendees will be able to demonstrate understanding of the AAT process, identify appropriate candidates for AAT participation, develop AAT intervention plans and activities, detail modifications and precautions for AAT and identify the animal’s perspective during AAT.
