In this session, we will explore the escalation cycle, the power struggle, and how to effectively de-escalate a child who is experiencing difficulty regulating their emotions. You will be provided with a set of essential tools to teach your students self-regulation techniques and strategies to prevent difficult behaviors. Additionally, you will learn how to best support and calm a child in crisis.
