Course Description:

7.7 million American adults have experienced trauma, 51 percent of those have occurred during their formative years. Research has shown that without proper treatment and response, those who have experienced trauma have increased chances of developing a substance use disorder. In this course, you will learn introductory skills on how to effectively define and identify trauma, as well as the biological process of addiction. This webinar will utilize visual displays and allow time for questions and answers.
