Triple Threat: Teenagers, Trauma, and Talking

Course Description:

In this workshop, you will discover and discuss the differences between teenager “trauma behaviors” and teenager “normal behaviors.” You will learn about pros and cons of different behavioral intervention methods. In addition, you will identify ways to talk to and connect with teens in order to build deeper relationships with them and be able to be a more effective professional in their life. You will have the opportunity to network and brainstorm permanency strategies for youth who have experienced trauma and are at risk of out-of-home placements.
