Course Description:

Identify outcomes in your institution or personal experience that are influenced by access, availability, cost, quality, efficacy, and/or communication.

•          Train staff and embed the Bridges lens as part of quality care objectives and to reduce health and healthcare disparities

•          Analyze the eight resources of the customer/employee and make health interventions and treatment plans based on those strengths that are present.

•          Demonstrate how the capacity for communication, language, and cognition influence and create barriers to efficacy in poverty

•          Co-investigate the impact of social capital and discuss ways to link under-resourced patients/clients to positive social support/resources to achieve improved treatment compliance
