Course Description:

In this workshop, you will focus on understanding and working with families with a parent

with a mental illness. The “insider” views and experiences of family members will be particularly highlighted, including how to talk to children about parental mental illness. You will also learn about creating a family psychiatric crisis plan as well as emerging programs to support families. This training will include one or more case examples, active discussions, and hands-on activities.
