Course Description:

Participants may attend either or both!  This session will focus on understanding the client’s experience and intervening on a deeper level.  If we understand the client’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as their attempt at creating safety or reducing distress in their lives, then our skill as clinicians lies in helping clients understand and heal the underlying problems.  This deeper way of understanding and intervening with clients incorporates knowledge from brain science, trauma treatment, behavioral research, mindfulness, acceptance, and the Real Relationship.
