  • Training & Treatment Innovations, Inc. 1225 East Big Beaver Road Troy, MI, 48083 United States (map)

Course Description:

This course focuses on the development of Crisis Planning and Intervention skills for human service professionals working with individuals who have diagnosis of psychiatric disability and/or substance abuse.  Social Workers, Psychologists, Outreach Workers, Case Managers, Support Staff, and many others will benefit from learning proven skills in methods of assessment, prevention, and managing potentially dangerous situations.  Strong emphasis is placed on helping individuals, through relationship-building and mutual trust, to build “greener lives”. The unique integration of highly effective assessment and prevention skills with physical staff safety skills (NOT restraint skills) makes this training course exciting and demanding.  This is an active, dynamic, and very practice-oriented training using the nationally recognized NAPPI curriculum.
