Course Description:

This course designed to cover the learning objectives while assisting participants in utilizing an array of assessment and interventions skills in safely and effectively managing crisis situations involving mental health service consumers. Participants will learn to assess risk to self and others, manage manipulation, plan effectively, will provide an overview of duty to warn and discuss how to document effectively to enhance future service delivery while concomitantly reducing liability exposure – closing the loop.
