The Traumatic Brain Injury and Public Services in Michigan online course is a free training intended for service providers in MichiganĀ“s public service agencies. The objectives of the course are to ensure service providers understand the range of outcomes of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and the implications for assessment and care-planning, and to improve the ability of service providers to identify and deliver appropriate services for persons with TBI - including coordination across service agencies when appropriate. This course can be found online at, and is presented in four modules including: Module 1) Significance of TBI and introductory information on how the brain works; Module 2) Common physical, behavioral, and cognitive impairments and interaction strategies; Module 3) Screening for a history of TBI; and Module 4) Public services available for eligible persons with TBI.
