The Intersection of Domestic Violence & Human Trafficking

  • Live Webinar United States (map)

Course Description:

.Often discussed as separate issues, it is crucial to recognize the significant overlap of domestic violence and human trafficking. Both issues are fraught with misunderstandings in mainstream discourse. Victim blaming, rescuing, and white saviorism often get in the way of understanding the importance of survivors' voice, choice, safety, and healing. This interactive training will uncover the dynamics of intimate partner trafficking and its connection to other forms of human trafficking; help participants identify red flags and warning signs for intimate partner trafficking, and gain resources and tools for assessing and safely reporting intimate partner human trafficking.
