Course Description:

Some providers may feel limited in treating chronic pain with traditional Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or medical approaches. This presentation will provide additional tools for providers that can be integrated into their therapeutic toolsets when approaching clients with chronic pain. Participants of this course will be able to identify the ACT framework components, explain two mindful experiential practices and two thought difusion practices, as well as identify the role of values in ACT.
