The Opioid Crisis in Michigan

Course Description:

The misuse of and addiction to opioids—including prescription pain relievers, heroin, and synthetic opioids such as fentanyl—is a serious national public health crisis. This webinar will present a statistical look at the crisis in Michigan specifically, including information on the definition of an opioid, what misuse looks like (signs and symptoms), as well as efforts to address the opioid crisis individually and in our communities. This webinar will utilize visual displays, incorporate participant feedback, and allow time for questions and answers.
