Michigan Medicine 2019 Addiction Update

Course Description:

Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of addiction by specific lectures on alcohol use disorders, opioid epidemic, Benzodiazepines, Buprenorphine, neuroscience of alcohol, prevention strategies, pain, and addiction and aging. A brief question and answer session will follow each presentation. At the end of the conference, participants will have gained a better understanding of substance use disorders, including up-to-date information involving diagnosis, management, and treatment.
