  • Live Webinar United States (map)

Course Description:

Women in the workforce are vital contributors to a company’s success, providing keen perspectives and driving economic vitality. When employers support breastfeeding they gain a three-to-one return on investment, in addition to greater employee retention and lower absenteeism, and a more creative and productive work environment. What accommodations are available to a breastfeeding employee when she returns to work? Lonias Gilmore, MPH will focus on the Department of Labor’s 2010 Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Break Time for Nursing Mothers Provision, milk expression, and child care considerations as women navigate returning to work as a breastfeeding employee.
