Course Description:

Social Workers will be introduced to the people, culture and social services in Ireland while gaining 45 continuing education clock hours toward Michigan social work licensure renewal including social work ethics and pain management. The program will draw particular attention to at-risk communities and vulnerable populations, social work training in Ireland, health care issues, substance abuse, children and families, politics and religion. Your immersion in to Irish culture will provide a geographically diverse journey with beautiful scenery as you travel from Dublin, the busy capital, on the east coast to the west coast Connemara and Burren areas.  Call for the date of the orientation meeting.
