Course Description:

The "Appetite Control & Suppression" course covers numerous lifestyle interventions that can be used to effectively regain control of appetite. The importance of adopting a high quality diet is stressed and specific characteristics outlined. The role and value of regular physical activity is emphasized. This course addresses the link between quality sleep and
appetite regulation. The role of stress management techniques is examined. Research suggests that if we implement these lifestyle changes and stay the course, we can improve appetite regulation and shift neurochemistry to reset our pleasure/reward circuitry. Although poor eating and lifestyle habits can become a learned behavior, fortunately the neural
plasticity of the brain’s appetite centers means that if we practice better behaviors, we can essentially rewire our brains so that healthier behaviors become as natural and pleasant as the unhealthy behaviors they’re replacing.
