Course Description:

This training aims to support those who may serve individuals, families, and communities struggling with increased distress and are vulnerable to suicide. This training will not only consider how to identify risk factors and warning signs, facilitating conversations about safety and resourcing, but also what to do should you struggle with your own mental health and safety. Participants will review common risk factors, conversational techniques to assist with seeking safe resources and identifying local & national resources. This training will not equip you to be a crisis mental health responder or mental health expert.
