Course Description:

This training is designed to provide child welfare workers and social workers with the tools and strategies needed to work with children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Through this training, participants will gain a better understanding grief and loss children experience as a result of child abuse and neglect. More importantly, participants will explore evidence-based coping mechanisms and interventions that can alleviate some of the negative emotions children have experienced in the child welfare system. This webinar will utilize large group discussion and visual displays.
