Course Description:
School Social Workers are frequently faced with ethical dilemmas in the areas of how technology is used in schools, interpersonal and intra-personal relationships, and how best to honor personal core values, NASW Ethical Code, and school policies. This course will provide an interactive experience to aid participants in identifying and processing social, legal, and ethical dilemmas in the areas of technology, relationships, and policy within the school setting. Participants will practice applying a unique ethical framework to various ethically challenging cases to foster responsible school social work practices.
