Course Description:

This is a Social Work continuing education course, hosted via a virtual platform called Teachable. This course is completely A-Synchronous and self-paced, consisting of reading material. This course is an introductory to human trafficking in The United States, focusing on Social Work education, influence, and involvement in regards to Human Trafficking. The course material covers different types and venues of human trafficking, how to identiy victims in a healthcare setting, and how to identify warning signs in a healthcare setting. This course also has a trauma-informed care perspective in regards to human trafficking and Social Work. Upong completing the course material, you will be required to pass a post-test with a score of 75% or higher and also a course evaluation. Upon completion of these items, a Certificate of completion will emailed to you.
