Course Description:
Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a clinical method that seeks to bring forth and strengthen a person’s own motivation for change. Participants in this course gain knowledge of the principles and processes of MI as a clinical method, as well as communication which is inconsistent with MI principles. This course will present the four main processes of MI, including associated techniques.
