Course Description:
This presentation will help allied professionals gain a better understanding and appreciation for key principles of rehabilitation psychology within their own work. In addition , Beatrice Wright and the Foundational Principles of Rehabilitation Psychology will be summarized and how they would benefit attendees with research, supervision, teaching, and clinical work. Furthermore, considering ways in which healthcare providers could integrate these principles (e.g., Human Dignity) into their own work will be discussed.
