Course Description:
This chapter will focus on; an overview of death scene Investigations; important things to look for, including the condition of the residence, environmental hazards, neglectful conditions and sleep environment information that could be a factor. In addition the Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Investigation Reporting Form (SUIDIRF) will be covered as well as the updates to the form that were made recently. Lastly a overview of normal pediatric development and how this knowledge applies to death scene investigation will also be included.
