Course Description:
Why would anyone want to stay in an intimate relationship in which they will be the recipient of mental, physical, emotional and sexual abuse? The goal of this online course is to explain the disturbing topic of trauma bonding. Why some individuals engage in emotionally charged relationships resulting in abuse and victimization and the impact it has on the populations social workers serve.
